About Pietro
I am an Italian trumpet player who graduated from Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in classical music and orchestra playing.
I am an Italian guy who loves music more than everything else and I like to share my passion with my students.
About teaching
I consider very important the breathing exercise and the singing, we play using the air and, the better we do with our breathing and our singing, the better the sound and our phrasing will be.
I can teach all the instruments of the family, I practice and play every day with Trumpet in Bb, C, D, Eb, piccolo in A and Bb, Flugelhorn and Cornet.
I will be teaching mainly at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in Aarhus, one of the best music Academies in Europe, with more than 300 rooms with all the tools necessary.
Curriculum
In my previous years, I studied for 5 years in Sicily at V. Bellini institute of Music and 3 years in Florence at L. Cherubini Conservatory.
I participated in many soloistic competitions for younger students:
-1st prize in Barcellona at National competition in Barcellona pozzo di Gotto in Messina, Italy.
-1st prize in “Concorso Musicale Musicalmuseo” in 2011 in Caltanissetta, Italy. -1st prize in “1°concorso musicale Serradifalco città della Musica” in 2012 in Serradifalco, Italy, -2nd prize in “2° Concorso Musicale Serradifalco città della Musica” in 2013 in Serradifalco, Italy. -1st prize in the fifth competition “Serradifalco città della Musica” in 2015 in Serradifalco, Italy.
Pietro also worked with
-Orchestra Regionale della Toscana inf Florence under the conducting of M° Thomas Dausgaard.
-“Teatro Carlo Felice Opera House” in Genova, where he performed Puccini’s masterpiece Turandot under the conducting of Maestro Giuseppe Acquaviva.
-European Erasmus Orchestra, performing concerts in Florence and Strasbourg with Maestro Elio Orciuolo.
– “Carl Nielsen Orchestra”, under the conducting of Maestro Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider.
Masterclasses
Pietro also participated in masterclasses with the Professors:
Reinhold Friedrich, Ole Edvard Antonsen, Stephen Burns, Giuliano Sommerhalder, Dave Elton, Phil Cobb, Stephen Jeandheur, Nick Thompson, Wim Van Hasselt, Andrea Lucchi, Roberto Rossi, William Castaldi.
Pietro speaks fluently English and Italian and is currently learning danish.
