About the lessons
My methods of voice training are based on the standard principles of singing of the European tradition of “Belcanto” according to international standards of vocal education. The basic principles of the teaching are based on an individual approach to each student, selection of a personal training program and the most effective methodological techniques, depending on the personal characteristics of the student.
If necessary, the most urgent defects in vocal technique acquired earlier (before the start of our classes) are solved, including those widespread among vocalists, such as: problems with breathing when singing; problems with head resonation; limited range (regardless of voice type); difficulties with the upper, middle, lower register; muscle clamps of the voice and body, rapid fatigue of the voice, singing “on the throat”; forcing sound and breathing; defects in articulation and diction, difficulties of the chest resonator and mix voice singing; heterogeneity of voice timbre in different registers; problems of “transitional” notes, and many others.
According to the student’s level, an individual selection of repertoire is offered, as well as a professional repertoire direction depending on the type of voice, detailed repertoire specialisation of the type of voice (voice “fach”).
The lessons for advanced students includes improving performance style and vocal technique, interpretation, acting skills, development of the student, their musical taste, the development of vocal hearing, musicality, knowledge of vocal literature and activities of outstanding singers.
